Sophisticated Terminals

System telephones govern access to, and consequently use of, the underlying features of the system. Sophisticated handsets, such as the Polycom Soundpoint 321, Polycom Soundpoint 550 and Polycom Soundpoint 670, provide a user-friendly interface to the facilities provided by Avalle. All phones feature a second switch port for connection of the desktop PC.

Independence

The ability to administer Moves, Adds and Changes in real-time is critical in lowering the total cost of ownership of any technology platform. It is here that Avalle delivers with a central browser based portal that provides a real-time view of the user resource across the system and executes Moves, Adds and Changes [MAC's].

Scalability

Avalle features strong positive and negative scalability. When you remove users from traditional PBX equipment, there is no corresponding cost reduction as that equipment or licence had already been purchased. Avalle enables companies to flex their workforce without having to commit to a certain capacity in advance. This strong linearity ensures you only pay for services as you consume them.

Speed of Deployment

New services or users can be added almost immediately. With all premises based options there is an installation lead time, which can extend to 20 working to mobilise carriers.

Technology Life Cycle

The concept of investment protection on traditional systems has been hard to assure with any degree of certainty. The responsibility for maintaining and upgrading the network now shifts to Avalle as the Service Provider. This avoids you having to manage the technological life cycle, and the associated risk, with owning any premises based equipment from telecoms to the staff fridge. In addition, non proprietary SIP phones can be used on any SIP based system in future. In this regard, Avalle has rendered obsolescence obsolete.
