The Polycom SoundPoint IP 501 is a three line desktop IP phone that seamlessly integrates with IP PBX and Softswitch platforms, providing an easy transition from traditional PBXs into the world of IP telephony.
User Friendly Menu
With an intuitive user interface, the SoundPoint IP 501 offers one button access to common and regularly used telephony features. An information rich large graphical LCD display provides call information, directory access, messaging and other applications. The menu is very easy to navigate.
Full Duplex Speakerphone
The SoundPoint IP 501 is classed as an enterprise grade SIP phone, meaning it encompasses both traditional telephony features and a host of advanced functions. A full duplex speakerphone with Polycoms Acoustic Clarity technology provides two way conversations that are echo free, crystal clear and as natural as a face to face meeting. Alternatively a headset can be attached or calls can be taken through its hearing aid compatible handset.
Wall or Desk Mount
Supplied with an AC power adaptor and having integrated Power over Ethernet capabilities, the Polycom SoundPoint IP 501 offers you a choice of connection methods. The modern and attractive IP 501 is supplied with a base stand for desktop use and the base stand can be reversed to allow wall mounting of the phone.
Dual Port 10/100 Ethernet Switch
A dual port 10/100 Ethernet switch provides PC and LAN connection. This also makes the SoundPoint IP 501 a perfect VoIP solution for call centre and cubicle workers who may use a hard phone in conjunction soft client running on the PC.
