Multiple Line Handling
Appealing to both executive users, who need advanced features and applications and to telephone attendants, receptionists, assistants and secretaries, who need multiple line support and efficient monitoring and management of a high volume of simultaneous calls.

Expansion Capabilities
With advanced call handling capabilities, the SoundPoint IP 670 accommodates up to six lines in standalone mode and up to twelve lines when its expanded to become an attendant console. Due to its expansion capabilities, you can connect up to three SoundPoint IP expansion modules to the IP 670 phone.

HD Voice Technology
With Polycoms HD Voice technology, calls take on a life-like clarity and richness that is unprecedented. Incorporating wideband audio you have over twice the normal voice clarity. Its full duplex speakerphone allows simultaneous two way conversations and through its built in Acoustic Clarity technology 2, these calls are free from background noise and echo and crystal clear.
In a call scenario, such as IP to PSTN, Polycom HD Voice would not be available and instead will continue in narrowband instead.

Enhanced Call Handling
With the Polycom SoundPoint IP 670s advanced call handling capabilities, you not only have traditional telephony features such as call transfer and hold but a host of other features, like shared call, busy lamp field an XHTML micro-browser and a USB port for future applications.

Ease of Use
An intuitive interface delivers all of the SoundPoint IP 670s capabilities. A large, backlit colour graphical LCD display provides call and directory information and the menu is designed to be easy to navigate. For investment protection, software upgrades can be easily added in the future.
